Had it for a few years now, some days better than others.

I found that changing my climbing tec helped but slows things down some what at times!

Wearing a suprort made for this injury is an esensial part of my climbing kit now.

I try not to use pain killers most of the time but when I do I go for the ones with ibuprofin in as I have heard that this can reduce any swelling in the area which contributes to more pain.

Try to take it easyer when possable in the speed of getting the job done as a slower better tecnique in any movement has to be a good thing in the long tearm.

Wish you a speedy recovery & year without as much pain.

A few of the guys i work for and with have tennis elbow very badly and are now finding it too much to climb. They are in their mid 30-late 30s. They attribute it to working on street trees for large companies, basically one handing everything and cutting and holding too much. Due to having the whip cracked.

Thoose that got out from the big compaines early and set up on their own seem to have less issues and injuries, that thoose who left in their 30s. anyone else notice that trend?

I've had tennis elbow not really badly, its mainly my shoulders and golfers elbow that give me grief. ThinK how you can work differently, Climbing system, using silky rather that 020 or vice versa, lowering rather that cut and hold, taking smaller hand held sections etc. Good luck
