Yes Alan and the Team at Beaver are good folk, yes they are now GreenMech dealers, yes they will still service and repair any make of chipper, yes the shop is good for kit and yes they gave up the Jensen thing as did many other dealers because of the pricing structure. No Steve Barnfather doesn't work there anymore and I try to help sales with "cold calling" (being a pain in the ass) when I'm in their area on their behalf!

Also, was it widely known that..................................No, I should not repeat that as I cannot get B on the phone!!!!

to be honest bob, id say go to beaverplant.

i kno redwood uk seem to be distributors, but iv neva found a web 4 them,

i used beaverplant when i worked at enterprise, and theyve always been good to us,

the teupens were fantastic!!

if they cant sell you one, they will kno where to go!

beware of the 100hr rule if your buying a secondhand one tho.

according to beaverplant, its when a hired from new chipper gets to the point of being sellable as a secondhand whilst still bein worth a fair price. its shortly after 100hrs that you start spending to keep it in tiptop nick.

not sure how true that is, but its a good guide if you want to part exchange for a new one.

just the same as vans, cars, chainsaws and anything else part exchangable. theres always a cut-off point.
