I replaced my faultless (till it died!) original 560 with a 550xpg mk2 and love it.

So light and nimble running a 15”, reliable, easy starting and power to spare.

I’d keep your mk1 as well though, sounds like a good ‘un.

I was wondering if they ( Husqvarna ) are going to " MK2 " the 560/562 with the mods that are on the 550 .......

If its the one in the picture, it looks very tidy

That's it. It is a tidy little saw and tbh trouble free. I was going to sell our trade but I think I might keep it. Honest little saw

It is a good one. Think I'll keep it. I'd miss it

Be good to know how much better they are than the mk1,i,m due a couple new ones

I'll post here when I get it on any noticeable differences.

Can't fault the mk1 so it'll have to be good.

See people complain about the weight increase and bar length loss due to extra power head length.

That's not a concern to me though.

Wasn’t the 562 upgraded early last year? Couple more vents in the top cover and an extra heat shield...

I noticed the later mk1 550 has a slot cut in the top cover too.

Mine doesn't. Might add one now that I think of it.
