Hi everyone. Decided I want a 562xp, but was told I should wait until the mk2 comes out. Anyone know If there is any news on a 562xp mk 2? Is it worth waiting for?

If the same difference applies as on the MK2 550 then by all accounts I would wait .

Same as me then. I've not used the 550 much yet though.

Did consider a 562 just for the smaller frame and to add the ¾ wrap handle, but there's not enough difference in size and weight from the 572. Also, i've probably bought "enough" saws by now anyway.

If i bought the 550 or 572 new i would've opted for the XPG, but they were used. You can retrofit all the heated gear anyway, so may do that at some point if i need it.

You can retro fit the heated handle kit but the price would mak it non viable, generator, flywheel, top handle, switch kit, rear heater pad and wiring.
