I see he made no attempt to disprove global warming just showed that in a few states in the USA have not experienced more extremes. Global warming is the big problem and this will lead to climate change which will vary dramatically from area to area with some parts of the world getting colder while the world average still goes up. I dont understand why some people cant separate these two very distinct things.

Also just say for second say it all turns out to be a huge hoax that vast amounts of scientists have colluded on. What is so awful about the main aim of not using fossil fuels? They are finite so its just plane common sense to ween ourselves off burning them. Think of all the amazing things that are made from oil that we will deprive ourselves of if we burn it all needlessly.

Exactly. I have been a fan of renewable energy since the 70s, it hasn't stopped me driving cars or tractors but I do aim to conserve fuel.

In the meanwhile because of fears of damage we are doing by releasing so much CO2 renewable energy has really taken off. Even the Saudis know they have to spread the risk of oil dependence, hence their announcement to float their oil company.

Absolutely. I’m not in denial, but like to hear all sides of an argument. I’ve even invested over £100 k in renewables.

Ok. Rising sea levels have been happening for millennia, and not since we’ve been burning fossil fuels. The English Channel was a vast woodland and dry plain once.
