What type of water and type of work, ie fast flowing, shallow silt. Is it chainsaw work or in channel cutting ie hedge cutter 

we do a bit so I might have somthing

Doh you can tell I've been retired 3 years. I was used to seeing SSoW, safe system of work

R.A.M.S. for use of a M.E.W.P. over water and land is an interesting one. Ought to wear a lifejacket and no restraint lanyard over water and a restraint harness/lanyard over land. Even with the best intentions the R.A.M.S. starts to look like a comedy ?
