Ifor trailer for small excavator

I do prefer towing a heavy item with a wheels on the outside plant trailer ?

 I agree but its never normally just the machine, most of us with slews have got grabs buckets,rakes and other kit that also need a ride. Quite often need to drop a machine off and then go fetch bagged material , fencing or drainage gear which is normally forklifted on. All of which would be a ballache in a plant trailer.

 

Tilts are good all rounders.

I bought a.new gx106 earlier this year. Upgraded from a gd105. That thing floated around when loaded with a lot of weight but fine with just machines....

 

The gx106 is spot on for me I can put stump grinder and tracked chipper on side by side no problem. Better wheels tyres and suspension also! Love it. 

 

I have quite a bit of planting to do soon and removing soil etc... Going to have to go buy a dropside aswell....

 

Thi g is with trailers, they are relatively cheap! And you never can find one that suits everything!

Yes and lower centre of gravity for your load

Just sold my 16’ flat last week as want a big flat trailer and miss it already. Plant trailers are the best for towing diggers etc but not much use for other bits.

i have a LM125GHD 3.5 ton rated, thats what i use to move my digger

ramps just slide in the back

then stick sides back on and you can go collecting logs

tows a dream too
