Anyone sway after being up a tree?

yeah i got it bad after my first time in a mewp, i only get it after mewp work but its not as bad as it used to be! great fun tho! its like bein on a boat!

Just spent half the day up the top of a row of poplars that were swaying around a bit and now I'm back on the ground I cant stop swaying!!!!! Is this normal? Feels like I've been on a boat for the day!!

 

 

 

If youve got it bad andif you want a remedy, after work take some travel sickness pills. Cinnarazine (stugeron) is good for motion sickness/vertigo etc...though dont take them whilst at work as they can make you drowsy.

I use to get exactly the same thing when I first started, though it has worn off somewhat in time.

to be honest im not mad keen on climbing at night too much but it has to be done the only down side to it is if the job is that urgent that it has to be climbed at night on a call out then its almost certainly going to be a pig of a job , one of my recent jobs was to remove 3 limbs that has plit out and were hanging in the powerlines (which had blown the fuses) and was also over one of those glass fronted sheds lol , im now really hoping that my other half has bought me the petzel head torch that i asked for so nicely lol

Im so glad i dont do rail work anymore, We HAD to do saturday nights, One in every 3 i think they wanted us to do, Now they were pants, Everyones getting gear'd up to go out on the piss and im gearing up to go and fell some trees in the dark 11pm til 7am
