i have one that came complete with everthing. has a snap hook on the end and a really nice grab not a small little hard to adjust thing. its a maxiglisse or something like that. cost about £120 for the lot.

You have the AUS one Jay. I had one of the first run, had to send it back twice as there was a fault with the snaphook, i gave up on it after that.....though the newer ones have obviously been rectified and its a neat setup. personally i prefer a hitch over grab but if i was going for a grab I'd definetly get the AUS one.

oh and plus the snap hook has a swivel unlike the yale one, it does make a lot of difference

I've been using an edelrid one - 4 m with a snap hook end, I put a soft link on the grab with some prussik cord. It has been soft to handle , easy to flick round/up and not as bulky as the older thicker style.

 

I've just replaced it with a 5m one due to it being just too short at times and wearing through the sheath in places. They give you a choice in lengths and rope endings.
