Engine is a lombardini 20hp diesel a pair of 11cc hydraulic pumps with 1 going throu a unloading valve set at 140 bar so when it gets to much that pump drops out and the other do's the rest same as a two stage pump. 

Rev set at about 2000 rpm giving 40lpm.

I did also to free up tractor and so I don't have take tractor on job to split timber for customers. 

Not a cheap project but got what I wanted in the end.

Thanks for that. Pretty similar to what I was hoping to do. Agree its not a cheap solution once all the bits are sourced. But should be a lot more flexible to use and not run the tractor hours up unnecessarily. Thanks for getting back that's very helpful.
