The crank is slightly different on the end due to the 3/8 running gear and oil pump . They both have the same crank stuffers I believe . My 560 above .

My 562 is a belter. I love my old stihl saws. 200t 660 etcetc but I wouldn’t choose their newer stuff. I prefer the 50 to 70cc husky saws.

No doubt that will have helped the 560 with a bit more air flow and the good thing is it will tune itself accordingly emoji106.pngemoji106.png

Mine was " fettled " by petemate390 on here pretty soon after I bought it . It was one of the first with one less crank case bolt ( 2011 saw ) but still going strong .

Ported ?

Mmmm . He would not say ! ? All I know is after the initial problems like cutting out when mid cut and hot start problems ( had a replacement carb under warranty )  since I got it back from him it runs stronger starts easy and is louder . Outwardly all I can see is he has cut and shut the exhaust can  ( obviously removed some of the baffle )  and opened up the outlet . I suspect he has done other stuff but who knows ?

[emoji106]. If you watch the hotsaws101 channel on YouTube he has a ported 562 that he made on there. From memory sporting a 28inch bar. He does some nice modifications. Worth a look.
