Dramatic pics there Matt! Like many I've worked in atrocious weather, and thankfully I dont do that too often these days:001_smile: But there's something almost pleasant about working in the woods, with snow falling and a fire going to warm by at lunch.

Good on you for working in that....

I'm too much of a wimp these days - I'd always leave it for a nicer day but up where you are that's prob not that practical.

Working in weather like that is harsh, i have to ask though what remedial work was required?

It's basically crown lifting and pruning works to allow for tractor clearance as well as for a new fenceline installation.

Some of the trees on the job could do will fell/replant but at the moment we are working to quite a shady spec which is determined by the laird.

We're due another dump of snow tonight and some flurries tomorrow too, hopefully it wont affect us too much.

Does it not snow there much?

Depends where we're comparing it to mate??

But im guessing by the post you get much more snow than in the pictures

Mozza - really we've had nothing compared to what we usually get.... last year we had about 2ft fall in one go and was up to near 3ft in places...

Everyone is saying that we're not getting the snow they used to get but it's enough for me!
