Best narrow access stump grinder in 2019?

Recommendations please..

Our HB20 has been great but it is getting on now..

We have a big grinder so don't need it for the bigger stumps..

Tempted just to go with another HB20 but lots more out there now

I have a predator 460sw and love it narrow access and immense power and really good price and ben burgess were amazing when bought it spare teeth and belts thrown in predator couldnt even match them.

The little FSI is a great machine Ben, its effortless compared to some of the others. I believe Bandit do a similar one that pivots but I haven't used it.

I have a HB20 and can see it outlasting me.

 

The new ones can just about go through a 25 inch gap when you take of  the outer wheel.

 

Could you not recondition the one you have.

 

The only downside I find is it is a heavy machine and you do feel it at the end of the day.

We've had our hb20 7 years and had the engine rebuilt last year. 

Been using oil ever since.

After speaking with Dean at bandit we have some different options.

 

Trade in our  44hp 2150 for a 38hp zt1844.  

The zt is similar width as hb20 but apparently comparable in grinding ability to our big 2150..? 

 

Any opinions on the zt1844

First thought is if you have a pedestrian grinder for tight access, a ZT might not be suitable. 

The ZT is, or might be as narrow as the HB, but its long too. 2.7m if i remember correctly. The length might make tight access turns awkward? Ive no idea what you're "tight access" look like, but narrow and sharp turn will be tricky with the ZT

A pedestrian style wheeled machine will also be kinder on lawns when positioning in small gardens. Tracks do scrub up grass.

 

Didn't Jo-beau come out with a pedestrian grinder with hydraulic powered swing? best of both worlds?
