Yep, same as Steve's. Mic seensitivity is Hi so I guess thats as good as it gets unless something is wrong with it. If I ever made a video I guess I would put a soundtrack on it.

.

I'm having problems with mine regards the sound rupe, it sounds exactly like yours despite what setting you have it on. I'm going to ring them after xmas to see if it can be sorted

Sure if if you can reach round to it, or your just chucking it over a branch that you can't be bothered climbing back over then its simple and easy. Longer retrievals need a bit of pre planning and then don't always work.

I just fiddles around with it but no improvement. I might call them, I'd be interested to hear what they say if you call them first.

Its weird how it picks upthe "clicking" of karabiners quite nicely but not the sound of the saw!

Have you used yours much? What do you think so far?

Nice one, The POV eats batteries too, if thats any consolation, I just buy them in bulk and keep some in my pocket and change during a climb, I can get a good 2 hours out of a set of duracell though. Batteries dont like cold, so may be that was a factor. I liked the rope trick too.

The camera itself is brilliant, mine lasted well over half an hour and I didn't know you could switch the lcd off that will extend battery life

The mic is on the side of the unit, its the round bit in the orange sealing strip, I was wondering if the orange seal ids touching the mike.

I'll not fiddle with it until they have had a look at it. :001_smile:
