will the tag microdots stand up to the cleaning of the saw i.e. Blowing with the air line  or a paraffin wash etc

It's one per machine so £15.00 each I'm afraid.

 

And yes it will stand up to cleaning, it's also applied in several places, so if one does wear off there will still be plenty that don't.

 

This is just at the though stage at the moment, just trying to get some feedback.

It's a bit like vaccination, if we all did it then the market for second hand saws would change and we would all benefit. Mind the nicked saws could all still be sent abroad by the container.
