Hi , just wondering if anyone is clued up on the 3.5 tonn drop side tippers?

We have always had Toyota dynas but as they have stopped making were looking at isuzu and Mitsubishi.

Wondered what main pros and cons were of each one and which new one to buy ?

Torque and power is important to us living in Sheffield with the hills!

Both much of a muchness. Hoping by the time my cabstar needs replacing, isuzu have a double cab out, so i can choose between the two. I looked at the mitsy, but bluetooth wasnt even available! Way behind the times

I was looking at new trucks a while back -35,000 pounds worth of tipping isuzu 4wd on the yard. Dealer was going on how it had all sorts of features including a rather impressive stereo with all those other add on mod cons.

I asked if it had a limited slip diff (as my current 27 year old NPS 4wd tipper doesnt) and he said no

Am I the only one that sees idiocy of a 4wd WORK truck not having LSD but an entertainment system? I can install bluetooth cheap if I think its needed, but it would be nice if they worked harder on the critical aspects of a work truck.

I have test drove both . The mitsi , is a lot more expensive. They said with the duo , you get a suspension chair and auto gear box . Although isuzu do this also . Was worried about the 1.9 isuzu having the pull but even though the mitsi is 3L , didn't notice any difference.  Think we will save £5000 and go with the isuzu , both very basic inside . Isuzu probably just shades it.

Isuzu also do the grafter in 3L 150hp go for that one, yes its got adblu but the bigger engine will be far better if worked hard, I have 2 and there good trucks.
