Im a 20 year old lad from cumbria looking for employment, as my forestry/field ranger apprenticeship with the lake district national park has come to an end.

  • TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT

 

WORK EXPERIENCE-

  • HARDWOOD THINNINGS
  • USE OF WINCH TO FELL ROADSIDE TREES
  • WORKED ALONGISDE AGRI FORWARDERS AND SKIDDERS
  • EXPERIENCE IN USE OF PLANT AND TRACTORS 
  • FENCING
  • SITE RESTOCKING
  • KNAPSACK SPRAYING
  • INSTALLATION OF FURNITURE (eg GATES,STYLES AND WAY MARKERS ETC)
  • FOOTPATH MAINTENANCE

Good luck finding something lad. I'm from Keswick originally myself, but live in North Yorkshire now.

 

Not a huge amount locally unfortunately. You could try Precision tree services, see if he is after anyone. Other than that I don't know anyone else local to you. You'll probably have to subby but I did and was never really short of work.

Do you want to drop me a DM if you’re still looking?  We dont have anything immediate but have purchased a small piece of land in the lakes which we are looking to plant up over the next year + other maintenance of that we will need to do.
