Proper 6x6 landy on ebay

There is what looks at a cursory glance to be an awesome landy on ebay. Its a 6x6 sandringham - the original 6x6 not 6x4- which looks to have been rebuilt on a galvanised chassis.

i agree with mick £11000 !!!! would anyone on here pay that? it seems a lot of money for a drafty,noisy 19 year old motor.

I have a mat who has one, he has enormous wheels and tyres on it, it does look the part. but not that practical really. It was a genuine 6x6 too untill axle packed in so mow its 4x4. this is the only pic i have of it i think.

would be a good base for a tipper though, and plenty long enough for a toolbox too.

I wouldnt want one, but i dont think it could really be called a 19 y.o motor- it seems that most of it is new and galvanised and the body work has been cobbled together from various ages.

 

And you need draughts to let the smells and water out of the cab in a landy:lol:

I used to run a 110 CSW with this engine in it. Nissan FD35 3.5 turbo, it was 135bhp and I used to get 95mph out of it (without the roofrack), it pulled like a train and all Landies I've driven since feel 'tame'!

11 grand for what looks an absolute disgrace. I don't care how genuine it is or rare, it looks a shambles and I wouldn't pay tupence for it

apparantly it was on ebay a while ago for around 7500, sold to matey whos now selling for 11K

 

worth about 5K imo
