Others call them welly’s [emoji6]

i just call them horable and bad loose boots..[emoji848][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Thanks wonky! [emoji849] and Stubby! MATE! yeah wellies are awful, hard and uncomfortably flat bearing on ya feet, i agree. Hence the ask about the more “luxurious” version.

I hate Rigger boots. I think they are banned in the Norwegian Sector now? Not 100% though. No ankle support.

I love rigger boots, prefer the freedom of movement. I think a chainsaw protection version would be great for ground based arb guys/gals, be no good to a climber though obviously.

Banned most places offshore now as you said no ankle support.

You dont live on Cushnie farm do you? I used to live at the first cottage at the bottom of the road when I was a kid. When the Mitchells owned Castleton Farm.

I thought they banned them because a cup of boiling hot tea got spilt inside someone's riggers badly burning their foot? ?

Would not surprise me.  Roughnecks where also tucking their coveralls into them and when tripping out the hole their boots where filling with mud or brine. :D

Thanks everyone who replied, got some of the wellies and agree they are horrible. Just going to buy a new pair of proper boots for safety even tho it’s just small jobs around my home. Shame most foresters near me have wee feet “as we say in Scotland” ))

ken what they say about foresters wi wee feet, wee socks.
