Today's milling

Made a start on a fairly large Oak today. Just getting the two ladders needed for the 6.7m log square was a faff. But just taking the top off revealed some stunning Oak. Looking forward to tomorrow when I’ll start taking some slabs off.

Got a right mould growth on end of it in that 3rd pic!

Over 6 metres long so that would be some kitchen mark

Nothing saying one can't be cut into the lengths you need so the grain lines up all the way round the worktops just like it would on a table end when you 45 it Les mate

A would say so as more character in it then there would be in the centre slabs lol
