Coal is currently £160 a tonne delivered by me, I sell wood at between £150 and £180 delivered depending how far it has to go and if the customer requests small bits

I know what you mean, Ive no yard/space for logs so i give timber away, if i had the space id be splitting and selling though, You may aswell do it mate, Just afew loads a month would be a nice bit of extra cash
