Just fit a flick switch on the trailer that switches the fogs over to reverse lights ( blue wire) . I have done this before and fitted led reversing lights down both sides and the back of the trailer

Bob

Is what I am thinking but with a remote so everything can be water tight on trailer.

Beat me to it [emoji106] or you could piggy back off your original feed somewhere using a weatherproof plug.

Not got a spare terminal in plug so how do you get power to lights.??

you put both brake lights in to one to free up a spare terminal in plug and then wire that in to reverse lamps, got totally pissed off with hazzard lighs fog lights and brake light trick no where near sufficent for what i needed so fitted a 9 LED light wired in to reverse lights works a treat and you can see what your doing very well, 2 holes to drill and a bit of wiring about an hour to fit,

Do the job properly & fit 13 pin plugs & sockets to them all.

If you get a fully pined sockets & plugs there are some spare terminals so as well as standard reverse lights for use on the road you could wire in rear flood lights too.
