ZZ/rope wrench tether

Seen this after a post about the breaking strains on a zz/wrench combo.

looks similar the the Reon Rounds tether but at $74 it’s over $100 cheaper, anyone on here have any experience of using one?

 I got one about 6 months ago and great but of kit.

 

Don't forget you will have to pay tax at this end when it gets shipped.

 

I also had to by a new Zig Zag to use with it as the old one had worn to much and slipped on the rope that I use for SRT.

What rope works good with this set up?  And what length?  I'm about 10 stone and struggled to get it to descend smoothly.. well at all..

The thinner the better i'd say

Velocity is great through the zigzag and the wrench

I'm using 

Teufelberger drenaLINE Rope

at 60m but have not tried it on anything else.

 

Works well and I around 11 1/2 stone.

In answer to length, at least twice as long as the biggest tree you’re likely to climb, unless you have 2 ropes
