Do a combo of drop hitch on the truck and bigger wheels and tyres on the trailer?

That then beats the point of me getting a low to the ground trailer to make it easier to get my chipper on and off.

Who would have thought a 5x3' trailer would cause so much grief  ?

may sound silly but what about just getting a trailer to match the truck and sit level use ramps to make it not as steep for chipper but if small chipper surely cant weight much and cud also use a small winch to pull it up

surely cant cost too much and you would be able to sell orignal trailer and put towards cost of correct one ?

Surely if the hitch of the trailer is high on tje towing vehicle, then the angle at the back of the trailer will be lower so easier to load machine on and off?.

Yeah thats the whole point of this post, I'm trying to eliminate the angle. If I put bigger wheels on and raise the trailer to achieve that I'll have too much clearance. I want to level it on it's current wheels to make loading/unloading easy. Also I'd need wheels that are 6 inch radius bigger to bring her up

if you want trialer at that level and dont want to lower towbar and dont want to change trailer then only way i can see is raise the A Frame of the Trailer where tow hutch is BUT this have to be of approved alteration by approved firm etc and that could cost maybe more than different trailer and longer ramps to get machine on  as they say choice is yours lol
