I went to cut and pick up some Birch that was on Freecycle. When I got there the woman said her brother had cut the tree down with an axe. It looked like it had been done by beavers and had taken him all day to get it down, he was about 70. It was quite big and I cut it into pieces and trailered it away offering to cut any more she needed just for the wood but she has never asked.
