Bit baffled with this one, the saw runs perfect but having trouble with starter housing, it keeps getting chewed up i,ve put two new ones on now and the same thing happens after about an hours use,just chews up the insides of the pull cord housing, anybody got any ideas why

How does the flywheel look? Is it somehow mashed where it connects with the starter pawls?

All looks good and smooth

Can you post some pics of casing, flywheel etc individually and then next to each other? Sometimes helps to see the conflicting parties to sum up a possible cause.
