Hi you lot any body got one of these trucks . If so can I have some info good bad I want to hear it all . I,m after the 3.5 tonne tipper . Getting a few old big trees to take down at the mo . It breaks my heart but if I dont remove them somebody else will . Cheers

i had one they are very good trucks. The turning circle was exellent and the 2.8turbo engine pulls like a train. Spare parts are exspensive but the are more reliable then a transit imo.

Agree with the cramped part too, I personally don't like the gear box as they are the wrong way round (think they have changed it now) Second were first should be. Mirrors stick out a mile so when parked on road fold it in as they are very expensive to replace. Don't think about over filling it with chip as the tipper won't lift it. We also had to tip the tipper up to fill up with deisel (think they have changed that too).

 

Exhaust brakes were good, does drive well with a full load and tow good, reversing needs some getting use to as it so bloody wide but thats easy enough. So there s my 2ps worth :001_smile:
