Man/Woman with an axe!

We have recently had a couple of trees felled and are looking to get the wood chopped up into logs for our fire.  Photos attached.  I am located in Box, SN13 8DT.

Can either agree payment in wood or cash.

So the stems of the yew were no good?

Unfortunately we couldnt find anyone interested in the stem! So it had to come down with the rest of the tree

Ok, you’ll need someone with a hydraulic splitter, an axe isn’t going to do that lot easily, and they’ll need paying, I doubt anyone would do it for wood.

Apprentice - Conifer

Groundsperson - Willow or Poplar

2nd Climber - Holly, Elm

Lead Climber - Oak, Sycamore

Team Leader - Ash, Beech

 

Boss/Manager - already long dead Ash & Beech, the sort that splits ready when it hits the ground...
