can you explain why someone would attempt to kill an ex Russian agent with Novichok instead of an iron bar..  

 

Its to send a signal to other Russian agents who might want to betray their country..  That they will come for you and get you come what may...

 

The Russians for all we know might of bumped off dozens of people around the world in much the same way. only we're the ones willing to make it public..  

 

It might just be Putin willing to troll us and not america because he believes its safer to do so..  its why I said we aught threaten nuclear war at one stage, not exactly to do it, but to let the news filter through the Russian population and let their voters know what sort of leader they have.. a dangerous megalomaniac in the making..

What, you mean like Putin who's had journalist murdered and even had a hand in bombing a block of Moscow flats to get himself elected some years back..  did I mention his military intervention in Crimea and Ukraine, not to mention his attack on Georgia..
