I have my pub lib and kit insurance (excluding truck, trailer and chipper) with NFU and its been £550 ish for the last few years. Emailed my local office with details of updated asset register (some kit gone, some new so value a little higher) and they've come back with a quote of £2423.10 !!! Give me a break! Any advice?

Same thing happened to me, I was with NFU for years and then went for a renewal on a higher turnover and with more EL requirement and they came back with £7K!!! It was about £1200 before that. Now have EL PL and PI with Bryant Kesek, and vehicles and Kit with NFU.:001_smile:
