dont know that much about the discovery chassis but my 2 p is its ugly and expensive. 24K excluding VAT.

Could be way off but thats the initial impression. I actually thought the website picture was a kids drawing!

only good thing perhaps is the engine possibilities. Dont they do a V8 still for the disco of those years?

Saw these in an article in a Land Rover magazine lately, they’re talking about coming up with the same kit for a defender chassis. It’d be a cracking job on a hcpu chassis, 3500kg gross would allow around 1750kg payload and still allow 3500kg towing.

Didn't get to the cost part. That does seem quite dear. Would prefer a 4x4 dyna I think

7.5 ton fuso
Can put about 8m3 of chip and still be legal.
And it'll tow a 3.5 ton trailer/chipper at the same time.
That's got my vote.

I just "won" a 7.5 ton 2014 canter eco-hybrid, low mileage, 1 ton tail lift,  off ebay for £16K including VAT......

Only to be told that they can't afford to sell it for that..... Really disappointed would have made a great arb truck.

The Canters look like a great choice as arb trucks.. The 6.5 ton 4x4 looks pretty useful. I tried to buy one of them a year or so ago and lost that too..

Ours is a custom arb job. Don't know price, but I think it took a year or two to arrive.
