Morning all,

Where can I get cordwood from, we are based near Ashford, Kent. We probably need about 100 tons. We don't really want Chestnut but good timber like Ash, Hornbeam, Birch, Beech etc. Oak is okay but we rather not have too much of it.

We possibly can arrange haulage but need to speak to Quinn Farm Services first.

Any other information please contact me.

Cheers Dave

What even though all the Chip, Sawlogs and Hardwood within a 4 1/2 hour radius is going there ! [emoji52]

Was chatting to TCD the other day about it all , seems most the wood down here is ending up in Kent at the moment [emoji17]

Same - Chris Walker a hand cutter who we used to buy a lot from says exactly that also. The local boys start buying now and I think their dead in the water sadly.

Yeah I think Chris site at the moment is all going up country. Haven’t seen him for a while since I had to do some stuff up by Hemmerdon mine a while ago. Seem most of the guys are already being affected by it Down this way, scary time for some I’m sure especially having all that kit layed up [emoji29]
