Stihl have a list of stolen saws. Take one in to get it serviced, if it's nicked they take it away. emoji106.pngemoji3.pngemoji3.png

How often does that actually work? I can’t imagine very often as these scumbags probably just nick another saw when one breaks! Why pay to service if you can steal one! Wankers!!

Sorry to hear about your theft.

It is worth noting if you had used arbsafe you would have a database of all of your serial numbers, worth doing it in the future. Anything that can help put these scum away is worth it in my book, I hate the fckers, they can easily ruin a good man's lifetime of work.

While it may not work just as well with saws, as u say the ####s won't pay to get them serviced.

But with bigger items they say surprising how often they get them back, eventually, as often u have to give a serial number to buy spares.
