Right, upgrading from a cs100. Do i go for quadchip 2009 650hrs, or arborist 150 2014 240hrs, not a vast ££ between the 2 I'm looking at? My only worry with the quadchip is maintenance costs with age/hours even though it's in great condition. ?

I can't comment on the arborist 150 although they are narrower than the quad. 

 

I loved my quad chip and thought it was a brilliant 6inch road tow. Amazing how much you'll use the turntable.

If you think you'll use the turntable then I'd go with the Quadchip otherwise I would choose the Arb 150..

I dearly loved our Quadchip despite it's many issue. Turntable is a great feature. I've rented the 130 and 150 many times and rate them both highly.

Quadchip has all it's gubbins in a very compact space whilst the others are linear in construction so more accessable for maintenance. Oil changes on Quadchips require a large plastic sheet for spills and a hose with a funnel or plastic bottle taped to the end as the slewring gets in the way.

I was in a similar a situation last year. Wasn’t really planning on selling my CS100 but got such a good offer for it I’d have been stupid not to sell it. After looking at many machines I ended up buying a new 150p. Haven’t regretted it, really good machine and copes with everything I’ve throw at it.

We have a 2018 demo unit Arb 150 34hp diesel listed on eBay... We are keen to move it on due to new stock arriving. It has 65 hours on from memory.
