Can anyone assist, I’m trying to replace my favourite throw line but can’t find it anywhere for sale.
It uniquely had a monofilament core (red) inside a slick white thin outer.
The closest I can see on Google searches is Gecko Dyneema which has the same core for stiffness, but I can’t find it for sale.
Any clues gents or anything similar with the mono core ? [emoji848]

Also, has anyone tried the Chinese throw line cubes?
I can’t justify £70 to replace my lost Faltermeir .

Stiffline is a good un.
I know someone who had 3 Stein throw cubes fall apart before he splashed on a Falteimer cube. Meanwhile one of my Falteimers is nearly ten years old. They're worth the extra.

I found my Faltermeir and original throwline !!!! Hoorah.
By then however I’d ordered the £12 Chinese model. It’s pretty good for the money .
Unlike the super stretchy Marlow throwline which constantly pings your bag back out of the target branch due to its elasticity ?

liros made slickline which was much stiffer and thicker than the new ftc stifline which is similar in construction, but does tangle more than the old one. All these lines need to be stored flat and not folded in a cube as it will kink the line
