Hi. Can anyone help

I've got a ms362. It starts, will rev ok, as soon as you introduce it to a piece of wood it struggles, if the wood is big enough it completely cuts out. I've not tried anything to rectify it except cleaning the air filter. (which wasn't bad).

I'm putting it in on friday, just wondering if there is anything obvious/easy that l am missing? Thanks in advance

Either the saw has partially seized or it has a fuelling issue such as split fuel line or shyte in the gauze strainer. It may be something else but these would be my first thoughts.

Thanks. I think it is a fuel delivery issue. I recently changed my 2 stroke oil from red stihl to the top of the range husky oil. It's only the second tank full in the 362. But my blower and the 362 both don't seem to like it. Someone told me that the build up of deposits you get on the red can be removed too quickly by the clean 2 stroke oil and cause problems. I don't know!

My 365 had simlar problem with the husquvarna oil.running hot and cutting out on full throttle.
Change oil no problem.

Got some different 2 stroke oil today. Drained the tank, added new fuel and straight away, it's working fine! I'm surprised more people haven't had issues
