Google Ad Words

Does anyone one use Google Ad Words to target areas outside the reach their SEO area, if so how much is the monthly budget and any tips on targeting etc.

 

I ask because I have just had a quote from a company saying I should spend 30 pounds per day on Ad Words and 595 plus VAT for a management fee of this process! Thats a lot of money to me and my business in relation to monthly income.

Theres other ways to target areas out of your main SEO area, just requires some work.  Whats your website?

 

Regarding budgets and targeting, I think on site SEO should always be the main priority...as for targeting it can be done quite wrong.  Lots of keyword research is required on your competitors websites.  You need to find out what you are being outranked on.

That makes my guys look cheap.

They were only wanting £269 Plus vat a month for management with a £500 a month ad Champaign

I think I am in the wrong business then, £200+ a client and I bet it would only take a day a month total for each one,

4 weeks x 5 days x £200 x 52 weeks...I need more fingers.

Reviving this thread has anyone had much success running their own campaign rather then paying a company to do it?
