Hello,

Does anyone use a Toro ped mower commercially?

They seem pretty solid and have good features like a vario drive which automatically adjusts to your walking speed.

I'm tight for space in my garage, my Honda hydrostatic pro model is getting on a bit and takes up alot of room. Toro do a 'Smart Stow' which has a folding handle and stores upright so saving space. Fuel tank and carb are designed to allow this.

 Any feedback welcomed.

Not used one but they have a good reputation I think . The old " Wheel Horse " was good in its day .

Folding mowers is a bad idea even if they say that it’s ok. All that happens is broken cables and fittings. Do you want a roller or a 4 wheel mower. Weibang are good as hk said.
Depends on how much you are going to use it to decide what to buy

Not so with the Stiga Twinclip mowers. They are designed to fold and the cables are routed so as not to catch or get damaged. Very good mowers too, with domestic and Pro variants.

Dad had one for domestic use but the drive mechanism needed parts pretty early on in it's life.

Did he have a Twinclip Beau, or an older model Stiga. The new Twinclips have an incredibly tough gearbox. Some of the earlier Stiga's did have gearbox issues though.

Ah, sorry Beau, but following my post, and knowing your dad did have a Stiga I made the wrong assumption!
