How many cv's is too many I've sent loads out looking for full time work really starting to get disheartened,is it generally quiet this time of year ????.

Other than a cv. Try calling firms and speaking directly to them. A cv can be miss placed or thought of I'll contact him later.

You need to pick up the blower! That's what I did and still do! I'm booked out the next 2 months I think the majority of blokes prefer that I know I would! If you have the balls and confidence to phone direct and have a chat then your usually the guy for the job just my view! But I haven't submitted 1 CV yet and I'm climbing week in week out! Agreed, it’s not really a CV sort of industry.

 

Why don’t you put up a few things about yourself, experience, qualifications etc. on here?

Type your area into the search on this forum. You'll get old ads but give them an email anyway. I did that yesterday and have got a few emails back already. Or if you see any firms working around just go and speak to them.
