Soap Dish?

I was after a soap dish and I was disappointed I couldn't buy a nice oak one made in the UK

 

I'd imagine it would be hard for amateur wood workers to find new things to make that are useful (only so many wood shelfs you can put up!). So I'm just throwing the idea out there that bespoke soap dishes are an underserved market.

 

I think this soap dish from the US looks awesome. It's also useful - it prolongs the life of soap by letting it dry.

Sorry I may be being thick but is that 2 soap dishes or is the one bit a lid did you order that one or do you still need one I reckon I could do one of those even with a broken ankle

Looks more like a stand rather than a dish but can see that the design will stop the soap going mushy on the bottom. I am sure someone on here will make you one

This made me chuckle - I wonder how long it would take to recover your $15 investment in saved soap?  Probably longer than a wooden soap dish would last.
