The fines are not nearly high enough imo. Its not like it was just a little bit off from the original remit. 
 
Did i really read "lopping" in the article?! 
 
It looks like the "original firm" had started a sympathetic reduction (look at 11 o'clock, and over the house) was this not enough for the client? hence them "not being able to complete the work" - kicked off the job by the client? 
did the client not bear any responsibility? 

Yes after revisiting the photos , I think you maybe pin on with that one. That natural canopy step in the first ‘before’ photo would seem a nice line to follow for the specified reduction wouldn’t it?

And what a paltry fine.

That said, I see A LOT worse almost daily .

...is 'why' I dont specify 'percentages'.....cos it is vague n I wouldnt want to be pulled up by a TO or client. Historicaly we have  a shocking record, an all are to blame somewhere down the line ( inexperience / vague spec / clueless clients ) so Am glad this has occured K
