Todays job

Had to take down this split poplar(second from the left in first pic).Things were going well till the wind got up!Had to cut a small elm and lime which it was leaning on first,it moved a little each time but still sat there. Not much in the middle to direct it away from the trees in the line of fire, however managed to put in a reasonable step cut then with a barrel on the choker twisted it round and down through a gap behind. All this while the client and his wife were looking on.Managed to miss the trellis nearer the house and the phone line which i'd dropped previously.Funny how the jobs you don't look forward too turn out to be the best ones.:001_smile:ps the wall has been damaged before and the whole length is to be repaired later,Jist as well!
