bow saws are rubbish mate compared to the new handsaws, there is a huge handsaw a lot of guys use, i cant remember what its called though, comes with a big yellow scabbard.. and why dont you get a little stihl ms 180. really light and tough, and they are pretty cheap too.

 

Sugoi i think is the big yellow one

found this picture of the silky sugoi, is this the one you meant shreksweebrother. anyone have a rough idea on the life of the blade( i realise there are many variables to consider but just a rough idea)[ATTACH]24356[/ATTACH]

 

yeah thats what steve ment. they are excellent saws, well worththeir money. i reckon maybe 8 months or so on a blade for the average user? but thtats a very rough guess :thumbup1:
