bow saws are rubbish mate compared to the new handsaws, there is a huge handsaw a lot of guys use, i cant remember what its called though, comes with a big yellow scabbard.. and why dont you get a little stihl ms 180. really light and tough, and they are pretty cheap too.

silky all the way ,felco make good stuff to ,sandvick are a good bet for a bow saw but bow saws are a waste of time in my opinion

fr jones does a cheap top handle 'ama' chainsaw if you can't afford a 200t. £150 inc vat

if not, a second hand 200t?

you will be pulling your hair out using a bowsaw

Trust us all forget the Bow saw

Silky will cut much better

I use Spear & Jackson loppers work well but not to pricey

Try Felco secateurs

yeah thats what steve ment. they are excellent saws, well worththeir money. i reckon maybe 8 months or so on a blade for the average user? but thtats a very rough guess
