I've seen Nick Araya using a wand set in the same way - it looks like a handy improvement.

 

Yes mate. I saw Nick's video as well. John Shutler in here put a photo up of his and thought I'd have a go at it. Just had to drill out the hole as it was too small. Off the top of my head it was about £3-50.:thumbup1:

I don't have a wand, but I agree.

With the release being used quite often, why didn't the designers see such a modification - possibly a quick release lever on a stock that could be vise-clamped?

Got hold of some black whipping twine cause I was getting bored of white. How sad can you get!! Ha ha

Quick question mate? Do you have a standard length for the whipping? I vaguely remember you telling me ages ago but it's long gone now!!
