Oil syphoning pump to drain hydraulic oil...

It won't be a job anymore. Hose in one end, hose out t'other, attach cable tie.

 

I'd spend the time saved drinking coffee, probably slope of for a fag at the same time. Other folk are more productive.

I know this is an old topic but the original poster's story reminded me of the same problem back in the early 90s... and now I am facing a similar issue with a smaller machine -- only 12litres of oil.  Am looking for an extraction pump because there is no way I am going to get 3+ gallonsof transmission (hydraulic) oil via the drain plug and don't have a lift for this 1000kg machine.

This works well From Sealey, I've drained 2 hydraulic tanks and a few fuel tanks with it.
