Tilt bucket or even better tilting hitch has ability to tilt both ways. I think the VDS system is a clever idea but I’d like to use it in the flesh- for example if your working in deeper mud- can soil or rocks get trapped in the undercarriage when the cab sits back down- id be like to see the design of the ram and associated hoses- can they get damaged easily etc.

We specced it for a digger to dig graves on a sideslope, with the blade it allowed levelling in 2 diminsions, as long as travelling/digging in the correct direction, I can only surmise the tilt to one side only feature was picked to keep the tilt mounting works as low as possible.

A very simple mechanically robust feature btw.

Which would have been more useful if some of the operators knew what plumb looked like!

Buy British buy JCB . Something we should all consider with brexit on the horizon. More than happy with my LG and others but now its going to be JCB on any new purchases. Same applies to attachments, if you look into it there are more than enough uk manufactures to choose from.

i did consider JCB, very similar spec wisefor reach/dump. Worse resale and lack of secondary hydraulics were the deciding factor.

No problem, in fairness the jcb is also 10% cheaper than the kubota as well.
