Butt was sold within a week. I have a list of guys always wanting timber.

 

My lovely Darth Vader hat was a week old. A couple of days later I drove off with it sat on the roof of the jeep. It was never seen again

how much did it weigh ed bet it was damn heavy with the root ball on? would of love to of seen the upside pics!

 

Yeah, It was damn heavy, about 9 tonnes I think. I took minimal pictures as I had video'd the job, but we lost the footage somewhere. We just lifted the whole thing over the wall, cut the rootplate off and put the timber in the back off my truck.

Bloody hell Ed, you left 40 quids worth of timber on the root ball, couldn't you have cut it a little lower.

Thanks. I had a real good reason for cutting it high - it was pissing it down and I couldent be arsed.
