got a job comming up to do some work on quite a few trees and has ive only been doing small jobs occationally while mainly doing building and construction ive yet to get public insurance.

 

as alot of others, me and a few others are thinkin of slowly building our own business over the next few years and want to do things properly.

 

can anyone advise on insurance companys? more important than the rates are the company, as i will intend to be with them for some time.

 

any pointers would be wicked cool.

nfu, they vary from region to region for some reason, mine seems to be one of the cheaper ones, ask for valerie on 01563 524 013. say you got the number from me, it may help my premiums next year.lol.

Another vote for NFU, kicked Trusts premiums right out the window. Just be careful about what you get off them. I am full covered for any tree but somepeople end up with a height restriction or lack of stump grinding etc on the policy.

I've just taken out my first policy with Arbinsure (just up on the right) and found them to be very competitive after ringing around the five or so that usually get mentioned - very helpful people !
