the old corona pole pruner comes in handy for apple trees or sticking out tips on reductions.......take your time with them and you can get perfect cuts to nodes every time.

havnt used a silky pole saw or power pruner for years do quite fancy a decent silky pole saw though

How about the AUS fibreglass pole sets for line clearance, absolutely knackering to use when you've yomped across 3 ploughed fields, got a line of oaks to nip back with 5 poles to get the reach!! Horrible things, flex all over the place too!

Hayauchi with 2 extensions - 16' at full height - This is big enough for me.

If you go for the 3 extension version its touching 21' at full extension (plus your own height) and its rather like fly fishing with J.R. Hartley!
