Do you use a head torch in winter?

Totally invaluable, not for saw work as said.

Petzl Reactik Plus here, and Petzl Tikka  in truck ducket or jacket.

The Reactik isn't that cheap, but means I can run in the woods at night, and it dips when I get back to civilisation. Rechargeable with a separate AAA battery pack available if you're working far from civilisation.

Like in Southend or somewhere.

Been using various ones for years. Hope was the most powerful but on the heavy side and too much power for sorting things out around the yard.

Current model is Olight which is lovely and light and powerful enough for most little jobs.

Just got but not yet used an Ebay one which comes highly recommended by the local running club and at just a tenner got to try it.

No such thing as too many head torches in my world xD

Had a couple of Petzl's and they are good but you get a lot more power for less money elsewhere IMO

I was always petzel but led lenser all the way now! I have a h14 as my main one, 6 years old, runs off 4 double a batteries. It's like a light house! Only downside is it's so powerful if you put new, quality batteries in then turn it onto high power mode on a cold night  it instantly turns on the low power light!

Thats backed up by a aaa powered led lenser. Which is the model 90%of my mates use on scout camps.

when I light the barn up with the light bar on the back of my truck I'll happily log up with the chainsaw if I have one of these on my head for the detailed light.
